Healthy Inclusion through Art

The European Erasmus+ program “Healthy Inclusion through Art” (code 2023–2‑ES02-KA220-YOU-000184022) aims to improve the social inclusion of young people who suffer from disorders and/or emerging mental health symptoms through a youth work methodology based on the development of talents and artistic interests of young people.

Key activities of the project include the creation and implementation of an Online Training Course for professionals in the youth field, an eBook that compiles these new materials, two international Seminars, the creation and implementation with young people of new tools based on art, which are included in a Manual, and the making of artistic creations, which are explained in a publication, in addition to an International Meeting between professionals and young people.

The consortium consists of seven partner organizations from six European countries:

  • International Youth Initiative Association
  • IASIS
  • Stichting Go-Woman Alliance Europe
  • MetaINTELLIGENZE
  • Associação Magnolia Method
  • St. Michael’s Youth Project Limited
  • Association of Relatives and People with Mental Health Problems

Through this collaborative effort, the project seeks to foster greater inclusion and mental well-being among young people across Europe.

To achieve all the program’s objectives, the partners held their first meeting in Ireland on July 29th. During this meeting, the strategic directions and initial steps for the implementation of the program were discussed, with particular emphasis on the development of the organizational framework and the allocation of responsibilities among the participating organizations. Additionally, a detailed timeline of activities was developed, and the program’s goals were thoroughly analyzed to ensure effective collaboration and the achievement of the desired outcomes.
